[김택곤 기자=영월군] 17일 열리는 '2023학년도 대학수학능력시험' 을 앞두고 영월군 및 관계기관에서는 안전한 수험생들과 학부모들의 이동에 불편이 없도록 수송에 만전을 기하고 있다.

이번 시험은 오전 8시40분부터 오후 17시45분까지 모두 2개 시험장(영월고, 석정여고)에서 실시되며 응시인원은 250여 명이다.

수능 당일 2개 시험장과 주변 교차로에는 경찰과 주민 등이 배치돼 수험생들의 안전과 이동 편의를 제공한다.

특히 택시업계에서는 수능 당일인 오는 17일 영월읍내에서 수험생 무료 수송을 도울 예정이다.

도움이 필요한 수험생이나 학부모는 영월군콜택시앱 또는 콜센터로 도움을 요청하면 된다.

관계자는 "수험생들이 안전하게 시험을 치를 수 있도록 최선을 다해 교통 편의를 제공하겠다"며 "시험장 입실이 마감되는 오전 8시 10분 전까지 최대한 자가용 이동을 자제하고 되도록 대중교통을 이용해달라"고 당부했다.
