[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 춘천시가 공기업과 출자·출연기관의 체질을 개선한다고 밝혔다.

이를 통해 시는 공공기관의 시민 신뢰를 회복한다는 방침이고, 시는 최근 지방공공기관(공기업, 출자·출연기관) 경영 효율화 강화 추진 계획을 수립했다.

지방공공기관의 기능과 조직, 인력 등을 필요한 고유·핵심 기능으로 재편하는 방안이며, 계획에 따르면 먼저 올해는 유사·중복 기능을 조정하고 정원감축, 경상경비 등을 절감한다.

기능은 핵심 기능 중심으로 바꾸고, 내년도 정원은 감축하는 방향으로 검토하고, 과도한 복리후생과 복무제도도 최대한 지양하며, 또한 감독부서에서는 운영 전반을 종합 분석한 후 조직진단의 필요성을 살피는 등 경영체질개선에 초점을 맞춘다.

내년부터는 조직진단 필요기관 전문기관 용역을 추진하고 용역 결과에 따른 사후 조치를 취할 예정이다.

춘천시 관계자는 “공공기관 경영 효율화를 통해 보다 깨끗하고 탄탄한 공공기관을 만들어 나갈 것”이라고 말했다.

한편 춘천시에 따르면 시 산하 지방공공기관은 공기업 1개, 출자기관 2개, 출연기관 8개다.
