[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 원주시는 원주 반곡지구 도시개발사업 구역 지정(안)에 대해 8월 22일부터 오는 9월 13일까지 약 3주간 주민 열람공고를 실시한다고 밝혔따.

군부지 이전에 따른 유휴 국유지를 활용해 공동주택을 공급하고 자족도시·일자리 창출을 위한 혁신성장 공간을 도입해 주변 지역과 연계한 복합단지 조성을 통해 원주시 균형발전을 유도하는 목적으로 시행되는 사업이다.

반곡동 1260번지 일원 780,967㎡를 도시개발구역으로 지정해 2030년까지 한국토지주택공사 강원지역본부에서 개발할 계획이며, 관계도서는 원주시 도시계획과 및 반곡관설동 행정복지센터에서 열람할 수 있다.

원주 반곡지구 도시개발사업 구역지정(안)에 대해 의견이 있는 주민은 오는 9월 13일까지 원주시청 홈페이지 또는 읍면동 행정복지센터에 비치된 주민의견서를 작성해 도시계획과에 제출하면 된다.

주민 열람공고 기간이 종료되면 원주시 도시계획위원회 자문 및 심의 등 행정절차를 진행한 후 강원도에 도시개발구역 지정을 신청할 계획이다.
