[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 원주시는 지난 12일 시청 7층 투자상담실에서 원강수 원주시장, 관계부서 및 주관사업자가 참석한 가운데, 친환경 첨단그린스마트센터 조성 기본설계 보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 보고회에서는 사업 착수 이후부터 현재까지의 진행 상황을 확인하고 전시 콘텐츠 개발 및 체험공간 조성 등에 대한 다양한 의견을 수렴했다. 

원주시는 수렴된 의견을 바탕으로 수질오염을 최소화하면서 친환경 첨단산업의 저변확대를 위한 특색있는 전시·체험 시설을 조성할 계획이다.

한편, 친환경 첨단그린스마트센터 조성 사업은 2021년 환경부 한강유역환경청 친환경 청정사업 공모에 선정돼 2023년 12월 개관을 목표로 사업을 추진하고 있다.

지정면 간현리 1031-6번지 일원의 간현관광지 내 지상 2층에 연면적 1,700㎡ 규모로 조성될 계획이다.
