[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 28일 오후 5시 시청 시민사랑방에서 강릉에코파워, 한전산업개발과 지역인재 우선 채용 및 지역경제 활성화를 위한 상생협력 협약을 체결한다고 밝혔다.

현재 공정률 94%인 안인화력발전소의 운영 협력사인 한전산업개발과 지역인재 우선 채용 및 지역과의 상생협력에 관해 협의하기 위해 마련되었으며 협약식에는 김홍규 강릉시장, 김기영 강릉시의장, 유준석 강릉에코파워 사장, 김평환 한전산업개발 대표이사 등이 참석한다.

협약서에는 한전산업개발에서 신규 인력 채용 시 강릉시 지역인재를 우선 채용하도록 노력하며, 발전소 운영에 필요한 장비, 소모품 등은 강릉시 관내 업체와 계약을 체결한다는 내용이 담겨 있다.

안인화력발전소 협력사 중 가장 큰 규모(184명)로 운영되는 한전산업개발에서는 이번 협약을 통하여 약 77명 규모의 인력을 지역인재로 우선 채용할 계획이며 자격 요건을 갖춘 인력을 10월까지 최종 채용 확정하여 안인발전소에 배치할 예정이다.

강릉시 관계자는“앞으로 우리지역의 더 많은 인재들이 안인발전소에 채용되고 꾸준히 근무할 수 있도록 시 차원에서 지원을 확대하여 청년들이 지역에 정착하여 일할 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
