이날 김 후보는 “5월 9일 자로 막을 내린 문재인 정부의 실정은 한 손으로 꼽기 어려울 정도지만, 서민에게 가장 큰 피해를 끼친 것은 부동산 정책이었다”며, “2020년부터 시행된 공시가격 현실화 정책으로 1주택을 가진 서민·중산층도 정부의 실정과 부동산 가격 상승의 이중 효과로 급격한 세 부담을 져야 했다”고 밝혔다.

또한 김 후보는 도내 31개 국민의힘 시장‧군수 후보와 ‘재산세 감면 동의 및 향후 세수 부족분 경기도 보전’ 내용의 업무협약(MOU)을 체결하고, 공약 추진을 가속화할 방침이라고 전했다.

김은혜 후보는 “전국에서 가장 높은 수준으로 오른 공시가로 우리 경기도민들은 고통받고 있다. 평생 벌어 내 집 한 채 가지고 있는 분들이 전 정부의 부동산 정책 대실패로 인해 세금 부담의 피해를 입어서는 안 된다”면서, “새 정부가 전면 재검토할 ‘공시가격 현실화 계획’에 발맞춰 힘 있는 여당 도지사가 경기도민의 과도한 재산세 부담을 반드시 바로 잡고, 줄여드리겠다”고 말했다.
