[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 22일 경기주택도시공사(GH)는 ‘경기도 빈집 활용 시범사업’ 신진건축사 대상 현상설계공모전 당선작을 발표했다고 전했다.

◇ 신진건축사 : 만 45세 이하이고 「건축사법」에 따라 건축사사무소 개설신고를 한 자

이번 공모는 GH가 신진건축사 대상으로 진행하는 첫 설계공모로, 심사 결과 총 3개 참여업체 작품 중 ‘건축사사무소 사각사각’에서 출품한 작품을 최종 당선작으로 선정했다고 전했다.

당선자에게는 설계 용역 수행자격을, 기타 입상자(우수작 건축사사무소비·이마건축사사무소(공동), 장려작 이응금건축사사무소)에게는 상금이 부여된다고 했다.

경기도 빈집 활용 시범사업은 빈집 정비를 통한 원도심 주거환경 개선을 도모하는 사업으로, GH는 총 사업비 65억 원을 투입해 ‘동두천 아동돌봄센터’와 ‘평택 통합공공임대주택’ 사업을 추진한다고 했다. 

한편, ‘동두천 아동돌봄센터’는 동두천 생연동 552-19번지 일원에 연면적 약 800㎡ 규모로 건립되며, ‘평택 통합 공공임대주택’은 평택 이충동 395번지에 연면적 약 610㎡ 규모로 3인 이상 거주가 가능한 주택(전용면적 59~74㎡, 8호 내외)으로 ‘22년 12월에 착공해 ’23년에 준공될 예정이라고 했다. 

GH 관계자는 “이번 당선작을 대상으로 디자인 특화건축물로 건립해 지역사회를 대표하는 시설로 자리매김하고 경기도민의 주거문제해결에도 기여하도록 사업을 추진하겠다“고 밝혔다.
