[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 4월 12일 14시, 평창군은 침체된 전통시장 상권 활성화 방안 모색을 위한 평창군 전통시장 및 상점가 활성화 지역추진계획 수립 용역 착수 보고회를 군청 소회의실에서 개최 했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 착수보고회는 경제건설국장, 일자리경제과장, 평창군 전통시장 상인회 등 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 선정된 용역사의 과업 설명과 질의응답으로 이뤄졌으며, 이번 용역은 전통시장, 상점가 현황 및 소비 트렌드 분석을 통해 시장별 활성화 추진계획(5개년 기본계획)과 시설현대화 전략을 수립하고, 오는 2024 강원동계청소년올림픽대회를 연계해 전통시장을 널리 알릴 수 있는 홍보 마케팅 전략도 수립할 계획이라고 전했다.

전통시장, 소상공인 차별화된 지원 전략 수립을 위해 타 시·군 지원 사례 및 빅데이터 분석을 통해 시책 발굴과 중소벤처기업부 전통시장 및 상점가 활성화 공모사업의 신청 자료로 활용될 예정이라고 했다.

이정균 경제건설국장은 “이번 용역이 코로나19로 침체된 전통시장과 소상공인 살리기에 초점을 맞춰, 시장별 차별화 전략과 맞춤형 솔루션이 도출 되는 계기가 되기를 기대한다.”고 말을 전했다.
