[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 6일 동해시는 시청 2층 회의실에서 아동학대 피해아동의 보호 방안에 대한 관계기관 통합사례회의를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이날 회의는 시 아동보호팀과 함께 동해경찰서, 동해교육청, 강원남부아동보호전문기관, 동해시정신건강복지센터, 동해시청소년상담복지센터, 해당 학교 담임교사 등 관계기관 담당자 15명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다고 했다.

이번 회의는 비행과 정신적인 문제 의심 아동에게 발생한 보호자의 훈육 차원의 신체·정서적학대 사례에 대해, 행위자의 권리가 침해되지 않으면서 아동을 보호할 수 있는 방안과 기관별 서비스 제공 방법을 논의했다고 했다. 

또, 강원남부아동보호전문기관에서 주 사례관리를 실시하고 동해시가 중심이 돼 대상 가구에 대한 모니터링을 진행하기로 의견을 모았다고 전했다.

임정규 가족교육과장은 “아동보호 통합사례회의를 통해 유관기관 간의 정보공유와 아동과 가족의 지원방안에 대한 심도 있는 논의가 이루어졌다”며, “관련 기관과의 긴밀한 협력관계를 통해 아동의 보호와 건강한 성장을 돕기위해 최선의 노력을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
