[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 경기주택도시공사(GH)가 중대재해 예방을 위해 건설공사 산업안전보건관리비를 강화한다고 밝혔다. 

중대재해처벌법과 관련하여 수년째 동결되어 있는 산업안전보건관리비 상향이 필요하다는 실제 원·하도급 건설현장의 목소리를 반영한 조치라고 했다.

이에 따라, GH는 산업안전보건관리비 정산 시, 계상금액(산업안전보건법 제72조 고용노동부 고시요율)의 최대 160%까지 추가정산이 가능토록 하는 내부 적용기준을 마련했다고 했다.

◇ 산업안전보건관리비는 안전관리 관련 인건비, 안전시설비, 안전장비 구입, 안전보건 교육비 등에 사용

또한, GH는 입찰 시 원도급사가 하도급사에 산업안전보건관리비를 적정하게 지급하도록 권고하는 내용을 안전계약특수조건에 삽입함으로써 원도급사 뿐만 아니라하도급사의 산업안전보건관리비도 충분히 확보되도록 하여 건설현장의 안전한 근로환경 조성과 산업재해 예방을 위한 발주자 안전관리 체계를 한층 강화시킬 예정이라고 전했다.

GH 전형수 부사장(사장 직무대행)은 “건설공사 현장에서 필요로 하는 안전비용을 충분히 확보하고, 효율적인 개선방안을 지속적으로 수립 하는 등 발주자의 역할을 강화하여, 공공 건설공사 안전관리에 선도적 역할을 수행하겠다”라고 밝혔다.
