[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 3월 31일, 정선군 기관·사회단체들이 군청 대회의실에서 정선군을 비롯한 40여 개의 기관·사회단체 대표들이 참석한 가운데 슬기로운 코로나19 위기 극복 등 각종 군정 현안사항 해결을 위해 다 같이 힘을 모아 나가기로 했다고 밝혔다.

이날 열린 기관·사회단체 회의에서는 코로나19 위기 극복과 지방소멸 위기 극복, 지역경제 활성화 방안 등에 대한 심도있는 논의가 진행되었다고 전했다.

최승준 정선군수는 "지방소멸 위기에 대응하고 정선 지역의 특성에 맞는 인구정책 발굴 등 추진상황을 비롯한 가리왕산 국가정원 조성, 도암댐 문제해결, 봄철 산불예방, 정선아리랑 상설공연, 지역경제 활성화 등에 대하여 설명하고 각종 군정현안 해결과 지역사회발전에 기관·사회단체들의 많은 관심과 적극적인 동참"을 당부했다.

김영환 안전과장은 "코로나19 발생 현황을 비롯해 정선군재난안전대책본부 조치 사항, 향후 발생 추이 및 대응 현황 등에 대하여 설명하고 코로나19로부터 정선군민들의 건강과 소중한 생명을 지키기 위해 고령인구가 많은 지역 특성상 지속적인 예방접종 및 위드코로나 대비" 등에 대하여 피력했다.
