한섬 감성바닷길 사업은 국비 등 사업비 총 39억여원을 투입하여 조성 됐으며, 2018년 기본 및 실시설계 용역을 착수, 2019년 10월 본격적인 사업을 시작으로 2021년 10월 전체공정이 마무리됐다고 했다.

천곡 한섬 유원지 개발사업의 한축이자 관광프로젝트의 선도사업으로 추진된 한섬 감성바닷길사업은 군 해안경계 철책이 철거되면서 힐링공간으로 시민들의 품으로 돌아왔다고 했다.

한섬 감성바닷길의 핫 포인트인 뱃머리전망대에 오르면 탁트인 동해바다를 한 눈에 조망할 수 있으며, 바닷가에 펼쳐져 있는 기암괴석은 또 다른 장관을 연출하게 된다고 했다.
