[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 홍천군 내면 광원1리의 취약한 생활여건이 크게 개선될 전망이라고 밝혔다

홍천군은 국가균형발전위원회가 주관하는 ‘2022년 취약지역 생활여건 개조사업 공모’에 내면 광원1리가 선정, 국도비 14억 3,510만원(국비 13억 1,040만원, 도비 1억 2,470만원)을 확보했다고 전했다.

취약지역 생활여건 개조사업은 주민의 기본적인 삶의 질 충족을 위해 안전, 위생 등 생활 인프라 확충과 주거환경 개선, 주민역량 강화 등을 지원하기 위해 추진되고 있으며, 2022년 사업지로는 전국 68곳의 도시·농어촌지역이 선정됐고, 강원도에서는 홍천군 내면을 비롯해 원주시 부론면, 삼척시 도계면, 영월군 한반도면, 양구군 해안면 등 5곳이 선정됐다고 했다.

홍천군 내면 광원1리는 대부분 재래식 화장실을 사용하면서 위생여건이 열악하고 도로·하수도 등 기반시설이 매우 취약해 그동안 주민들이 많은 불편을 겪고 있으며, 이에 따라 홍천군은 국도비 14억 3,510만원을 포함, 군비 2억 9,090만원 등 총 17억 2,600만원을 투입해 오는 2025년까지 재래식 화장실 개선, 커뮤니티센터 조성, 마을 하수도 정비, LPG 배관망 조성 등 생활 인프라 조성과 주거환경 개선사업을 추진할 계획이라고 전했다.
