[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 3월 7일 캠코(한국자산관리공사)는 부산광역시청 국제회의실에서 부산광역시, 부산광역시 남구청과 지역 발전 및 상생․협력을 위한 ｢캠코 ‘청년 공유型 사택(社宅)’ 신축 및 운영에 관한 업무협약｣을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 신축 예정인 캠코 직원 사택* 내에 부산지역 청년 등 지역주민 편의시설 조성 및 운영에 대해 상호 협력하기 위해 추진됐으며, 협약식에는 권남주 캠코 사장, 박형준 부산시장, 박재범 부산시 남구청장이 참석했다고 했다.

협약에 따라, 캠코는 캠코 신규채용 직원과 부산지역 청년(대학생 등)이 함께 거주할 사택(명칭, ‘청년 공유형 사택’)을 건축하고, 사택 중 25개 호실은 부산지역 청년의 주거 지원용으로 제공한다고 전했다.

주거 지원용 호실은 가구ㆍ가전, 취사 기기, 화장실, 냉ㆍ난방 시설, 침대 등 거주에 필요한 시설이 모두 구비될 예정이며, 2년 이상 시세보다 낮은 임대 조건으로 사용할 수 있다고 했다. 

또한, 캠코는 사택 2층을 부산시가 추진하는 ‘부산 어린이 복합문화공간’으로 조성하여, 지역주민이 이용할 수 있는 도서관, 디지털체험관, 학습관, 커뮤니티존 등을 설치한다고 전했다.

특히, 커뮤니티존은 사택 입주자인 캠코 직원과 지역 청년(대학생 등)간 네크워크를 형성하고, 정기 간담회와 멘토ㆍ멘티활동을 통해 취업역량을 강화하는 소통의 장으로 활용될 예정이라고 했다. 

부산시와 부산시 남구청은 ‘청년 공유형 사택’ 준공 후 사택 이용자 모집ㆍ선발과 ‘부산 어린이 복합문화공간’ 운영을 돕는다고 전했다. 

권남주 캠코 사장은 “청년 공유형 사택은 전국 혁신도시 최초로 시도되는 사업인 만큼, 국토교통부의 과감한 규제 완화와 부산시 및 남구의 적극적인 행정지원 덕분에 가능했다”며, “지역 상생·협력을 위한 선도적 모델로 자리매김할 수 있도록 책임있는 역할을 수행할 것”이라고 강조했다. 

한편, 캠코는 지난해 코로나 방역 의료진 응원물품 지원, 이주배경 아동ㆍ청소년 가족 지원, 홀몸어르신들을 위한 ‘사랑의 연탄 1만장 나눔’ 등과 함께, 올해 초에는 저소득 가정 지원을 위한 기부금 전달 등 지역사회와 상생ㆍ발전을 위해 노력하고 있다고 전했다.
