[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 2월 28일 오전 11시, 평창군은 대관령면사무소 2층 대회의실에서 제2회 초등학력인정 문해교실 졸업식을 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

이번에 졸업하게 된 차항 1리 경로당 문해교실은 지난 2014년 평창군 일반 성인문해교실로 개강하여 운영하다가 2019년부터 3년간 초등학력인정 프로그램에 참여하여 학력인정서를 취득하게 되었고, 이날 졸업식은 졸업생 학사모 사진 촬영을 시작으로 개근상 및 공로상을 시상, 강원도교육감이 수여하는 초등학력인정서 전달, 내빈 인사말씀, 졸업생 공연순서로 진행되었다고 전했다. 

평창군은 비문해·저학력 성인을 대상으로 강원도교육청에서 실시하는 초등학력인정 문해교육 프로그램에 참여, 이영희 문해교육사 지도 아래 차항 1리 경로당(現 고랭지만두마을체험관)문해교실 학습자 8명이 최종 초등학력 3단계를 이수함으로써 초등학력을 인정받아 이를 기념하기 위해 졸업식을 개최하게 되었다고 했다.

김영옥 교육체육과장은 이날 졸업하는 어르신들을 축하하며 “코로나19로 어려운 여건에도 뜻하신 바를 이루시고, 영예로운 졸업을 맞이하신 여러분께 기쁜 마음으로 축하를 드립니다.”라며, “성인 문해교육에서 배운 지식을 바탕으로 앞으로 더 넓은 세상에서 자신 있게, 하시고 싶으셨던 이야기를 이어가시면 좋겠습니다.”라고 전했다.
