[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원]북부지방산림청은 2022년 규제혁신 추진계획을 수립, 3월부터 추진계획에 따라 규제혁신을 위한 과제 발굴에 나설 예정이라고 밝혔다.

북부지방산림청은 2021년 내·외부 산림관련 업무에 대하여 총 33건의 규제개선 과제를 발굴했고, 이 중 검토를 통해 20건의 엄선된 과제를 산림청에 제출하여 4건의 과제 수용 의견을 받고 현재 개정 진행 중에 있다고 전했다.

산림청은 지난해 규제혁신 대표사례로 상반기 5건, 하반기 5건에 대해 적극 홍보했으며, 그 중 일자리 관련 및 국민밀접 사례 3건에 대하여는 홍보영상을 추가로 제작·배포하여 산림 관련 국민, 나아가 전국민이 규제혁신의 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 심도 높은 홍보를 진행했다고 했다.

대표적인 사례로 산림복지전문가 종류를 확대한 사례가 있으며, 산림에 대한 국민들의 기대가 커져가면서, 휴양·교육·치유·등산 및 레포츠 등 산림 복지에 대한 국민들의 다양한 수요가 발생하였다. 하지만 법령 상 산림복지 전문가는 숲해설가 외 3분야로 한정되어 있어 있었다고 했다.
