[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 23일부터 경기주택도시공사(이하 GH)는 도내 18개 건설현장에 대한 해빙기 안점점검을 약 5주간 시행하며, 이번 안전점검은 토목, 건축 등 민간전문가가 포함된 안전 전문기관과 합동으로 점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

중대재해처벌법이 시행되는 원년인 만큼 이번 해빙기 안전점검에서는 공사장 및 주변지역 지반침하, 동결지반 융해에 따른 지반이완 및 침하로 지하매설물 등 파손여부, 절·성토구간 붕괴 등 사면 불안정 여부, 안전사고 예방을 위한 안전시설 설치 상황 등을 더 철저히 집중 점검할 예정이라고 했다.

한편, GH는 올해 제정된 중대재해처벌법 대응방안으로 전담조직을 사장 직속으로 조직 개편함과 동시에 관련규정 제․개정 등 안전보건 관리체계를 구축하고, 근로자 및 공사감독자에 대한 지속적 교육 및 홍보를 실시하고 있다고 했다. 

GH 전형수 사장 직무대행은 “앞으로도 GH는 안전관리 환류시스템을 지속적으로 발전시켜 전 임직원이 ‘중대재해 제로, 일반재해 50% 감축’ 목표를 달성하기 위한 안전사고 예방노력을 지속해 나갈 예정이다.”라고 밝혔다.
