[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 23일 북부지방산림청은 국유림관리소 숲가꾸기 담당자와 산림기술사 등 35여명이 참석한 가운데 온·오프라인으로 신규 담당자를 위한 숲가꾸기 기본 교육을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이날 교육은 북부지방산림청 대회의실에서 산림기술사의 기본 이론교육 및 산림 기능별·단계별 사업 추진 요령 등으로 진행했다고 전했다. 

북부지방산림청에서는 전년도에 이어 숲가꾸기 사업 품질 향상 및 담당자 역량 강화를 위해 직무교육을 지속적으로 추진하고 있으며, 이번 교육은 연초 본격적인 사업 착수 전 신규 담당자 직무능력 향상를 위한 두 번째 교육이라고 했다.

주요 직무교육은 산림경영 목표별 숲가꾸기 기본 원리 등 신규 담당자가 사업 추진 시 숙지하여야 할 기본 이론 및 기능별 사업종 선택과 경영목표 설정 및 단계별 적용 방법을 위주로 교육했다고 했다.

북부지방산림청 최수천 청장은 “금년에도 사업 담당 공무원의 직무 역량 강화를 위해 지속적인 직무교육을 실시하고, 현장의 애로사항 및 문제점을 공유·개선하여 숲가꾸기 품질 향상을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”라고 밝혔다.
