[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시가 코로나19 오미크론 확산으로 다수인원 동시 격리 등 위기상황 속 업무공백에 대비하기 위해 「업무연속성(BCP) 계획」을 수립했다고 밝혔다.

업무연속성계획(BCP, Business Continuity Planning)은 위기상황 속에서도 기관의 핵심적인 업무가 지속될 수 있도록 준비하는 위기 대응체계라고 했다.

동해시는 상황 발생 시 업무연속성 비상대책본부를 운영하고, 취약계층에 대한 안정적 복지운영, 공공교통망 비상 수송체계, 폐기물 및 쓰레기 처리, 상하수도 관리, 보건 방역 물품 관리 등 핵심적인 공공서비스가 안정적으로 제공될 수 있도록 대비했다고 했다.

또, 청사 내 소독·방역, 주기적인 직원 건강 체크를 비롯해 직원 간 접촉 최소화 등 비대면 업무를 실시해 코로나19로 인한 피해를 최소화할 예정이라고 전했다.

장해주 안전과장은 “전국적으로 코로나19 확진자가 폭증하고 있는 상황에서 필수 행정 서비스가 마비되는 일이 없도록 사전 대비에 만전을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
