[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 2월 16일, 가평군은 가평군건강가정·다문화가족지원센터 주관으로 '설악가족행복지원센터 차량 기증식'을 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 기증식에는 김성기 가평군수, 조규관 행정복지국장, GS칼텍스 정성용 인재개발원장, 사회복지공동모금회 강주현 본부장, 이승분 건강가정·다문화가족지원센터장 등 12명이 참석했고, 기증식의 차량은 지난 2021년 7월 GS칼텍스 인재개발원의 기탁금 3천만원으로 구입한 것이며 지난 10월 28일 개소한 설악가족행복지원센터 이용 회원들의 교통편의 제공 및 다문화가족의 조기 정착을 위해 사용 될 예정이라고 전했다. 

이번 기증식에 참석한 GS칼텍스 정성용 인재개발원장은 “지역 내 주민들을 위해 쓰였으면 하는 마음으로 기탁하게 된 성금이 이렇게 가치 있게 사용 되어 더없이 기쁘다” 며 그 소감을 밝혔다. 

김성기 가평군수는 “가평군 복지 발전에 힘써주시고 나눔문화 확산에 기여해 주시는 GS칼텍스 인재개발원 관계자 분들께 진심으로 감사드리며, 우리 관내 다문화가정이 소외되지 않고 문화적으로 지역주민과 소통할 수 있도록 한발 더 나아가는 가평군으로 거듭나겠다.” 는 뜻을 전했다. 

가평군 건강가정·다문화가족지원센터 관계자는 센터 및 분소 운영에 있어 건강가정 및 결혼이민자들을 위한 맞춤 프로그램을 개발하고 다양한 사업을 추진하여 가평군민이 안정적인 가족생활을 영위할 수 있도록 노력할 뜻을 더했다고 했다.
