[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 2월 21일부터 3월 3일까지, 홍천군은 주민참여예산제도 운영의 첫 시작으로 교육을 희망하는 읍·면 주민을 대상으로 주민참여예산 제도의 이해와 예산과정에서의 주민참여 방법에 '2022년 주민참여예산 권역별 찾아가는 예산학교' 운영한다고 밝혔다.  

주민참여예산제도는 예산편성 등 예산의 전 과정에 주민이 직접 주도적으로 참여, 예산을 투명하고 효율적으로 운영하기 위한 제도로 군은 이번 찾아가는 예산학교를 통해 주민에게 다양한 제안사업 공모기회를 제공하는 등 주민 참여를 확대해 주민 주도의 홍천군 참여예산 운영 토대를 구축할 계획이며, 권역별 찾아가는 예산학교는 주민참여예산 제도의 이해와 주민 제안사업 발굴 및 제안서 작성 실습 등의 교육과정으로 진행되며, 2개 읍·면을 1개의 권역으로 묶어 진행한다고 전했다.

홍천읍·북방면 권역은 오는 2월 21일 홍천군 문화예술회관, 서석면·내면 권역은 2월 22일 서석면 복지회관, 남면·서면 권역은 2월 28일 남면 행정복지센터, 화촌면·영귀미면 권역은 3월 2일 영귀미면 행정복지센터, 두촌면·내촌면 권역은 3월 3일 두촌면 행정복지센터에서 각각 진행하며, 교육은 홍천군민이면 누구나 신청할 수 있으며, 읍·면별 10명 내외(권역별 20명 내외)로 모집하고, 신청은 각 읍·면 행정복지센터 또는 기획감사담당관 예산담당으로 하면 된다고 했다.
