[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 홍천축협이 올해부터 출산축하 후원금을 기존 10만원에서 20만원으로 상향해 지급한다고 밝혔다.

홍천군과 홍천축협은 지난 2017년 5월 출산장려 분위기를 조성하고자 출산축하 후원금 지원을 위한 업무협약을 체결, 5년간 지속적으로 출산축하 후원금 지원 사업을 진행해 왔고, 협약에 따라 홍천군은 출생신고를 위해 관내 읍·면 행정복지센터를 방문하는 부모에게 출산축하 후원금 지원 사업을 지속적으로 홍보하고 있다고 전했다.

홍천축협의 출산축하 후원금은 ‘도담도담 축협통장’을 개설한 후 군에서 지원하는 출산장려금이 지급되면 홍천축협에서도 신생아 1인당 20만원씩 지원한다고 했다.

임홍원 홍천축협 조합장은 “홍천의 밝은 미래를 위한 출산 장려 분위기에 적극 동참하고자 출산축하 후원금을 2배로 상향하게 됐다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 상생하며 사회적 책임을 다하기 위해 최선을 다 하겠다”고 말했다.
