[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 정선군번영연합회에서는 2022년 임인년 읍·면 순회 신년인사회를 개최하고 슬기로운 코로나19 극복과 지역현안 해결에 앞장서기로 했다고 밝혔다.

연합회에서는 코로나19 예방을 위해 읍면별 순회 신년인사회를 개최하기로 결정하고 지난 2월 7일부터 정선읍을 시작으로 9일 화암면을 마지막으로 신년인사회를 마무리했다고 전했다.

연합회는 올해 임채혁 번영연합회장을 비롯한 임원진들이 새롭게 구성되었으며, 읍·면별 순회 신년인사회를 통해 2022년 정선군의 주요현안에 대하여 설명하는 자리를 마련하고 지역 현안사항 해결에 보탬이 될 수 있는 방안에 대해 논의하는 시간을 가졌고, 또한 정선군번영연합회를 비롯한 갹 읍·면 변영회에서는 도암댐 문제해결을 비롯한 산업폐기물 사업장 설치 반대 등 군민들의 소중한 생명과 재산을 위협하는 정선군 주요 현안 해결 사항에 대해 지역의 기관사회단체 및 군민들과 함께 적극 노력할 것을 다짐했다고 밝혔다.

임채혁 정선군번영연합회장은 "코로나19 장기화로 모두가 힘든 시기를 보내고 있는 만틈 번영회 회원 모두가 하나된 마음으로 슬기로운 코로나19 위기 극복은 물론 지역의 현안해결에 적극 동참해 줄 것"을 당부했다고 말했다.
