강릉시는 ‘강릉 허브거점단지' 지정이 예상되는 구정면·강남동 일원 개발행위허가 제한지역 변경을 위해 최근 시민 의견을 수렴하기 위한 열람공고 절차를 마치고 오는 9일 고시할 예정이라고 전했다.

이번 사항은 사업 기간이 장기간 소요됨에 따라 주민 생활 불편, 사유재산 피해가 발생 할 수 있는 만큼 이를 최소화하기 위한 조치로, 면적 635만㎡에서 308만㎡로 규모를 축소 조정하고, 제한지역 내에서도 토지분할, 야적 등 일부 행위에 대해서도 허용한다는 내용이라고 했다.

강릉시 관계자는“국토연구원에서 제시한 개발전략 및 개발구상(안)에 따라 신재생에너지를 100% 활용하여 탄소중립을 실현하고, 미래 시대를 이끌어 나갈 신성장 동력 확보와 산업구조 다변화의 기회로 삼기 위해 E-Hub 국가산단으로 추진해 나갈 예정”이라고 말했다.
