[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 3월 18일까지 강릉시는 발전소 주변지역 주민의 소득증대 및 주변지역의 산업화 촉진을 위하여 주민복지 및 기업유치 지원사업(융자금)을 신청받는다고 밝혔다.

지원 대상은 금융기관의 여신 규정상의 융자조건을 충족하면서 발전소 주변 지역에 거주하는 주민 및 기업(발전소 반경 5km 이내) 중 성산면, 왕산면, 구정면, 강동면, 송정동, 강남동, 성덕동에 거주하는 주민이나 입주기업이 해당된다고 했다.

단, 금융기관의 여신 규정상의 융자조건을 갖추지 못한 주민과 이미 본 자금 대출 한도액을 지원받고 상환 중인 주민은 대상에서 제외된다고 했다.

주민복지 지원사업 융자 한도의 경우 가구당 최대 2천만 원이고, 기업유치 지원사업 융자 한도의 경우 기업당 최대 5천만 원까지 가능하며, 연이율 2.5%, 2년 거치 3년 균등분할상환으로 사업예산 규모는 3억2천만 원이라고 했다.

융자를 원하는 주민들은 강릉시 에너지과 및 해당 주소지 면･동주민센터에 신청서를 접수하고, 융자 대상자로 확정되면 신한은행(강릉지점)에서 융자금을 대여받을 수 있다고 했다.

강릉시 관계자는“발전소 주변 지역 주민들에 대한 이해를 증진시키고 주민의 생활 안정과 소득 증대를 도모하기 위하여 앞으로도 주민복지 및 기업유치 지원사업을 지속적으로 추진해 나갈 계획”이라고 말했다.
