[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시는 자가격리 수칙을 위반하고 격리장소를 무단이탈한 자가격리자를 적발해 고발 조치했다고 밝혔다.

지난 23일 코로나19 재택치료자(확진자)의 공동격리자로 분류돼 자가격리 중이던 A씨는 24일 19:30 경부터 19:50 경까지 격리장소를 무단 이탈했다고 했다.

A씨는 자가격리자를 모니터링 중이던 담당공무원이 자가격리자 관리 어플을 통해 격리장소 이탈 상태를 확인하고 연락을 시도해 격리장소 이탈을 진술 받고 즉각 귀가 조치됐다고 했다.

동해시의 조사결과 A씨는 지인의 연락을 받고 버려진 물품을 습득하기 위해 자차를 이용해 이탈했으며, 이동 중 전담공무원의 연락을 받아 이탈 사실을 진술한 뒤 곧바로 자택으로 복귀했다고 했다.

한편, 동해시는 최근 오미크론 변이 바이러스의 확산으로 전국뿐만 아니라 관내에서도 확진자 발생이 증가하는 등 자가격리자의 방역수칙 준수 경각심이 고조되고 있는 상태에서 이탈한 것으로 A씨에게 안심밴드를 착용하게 해 이탈관리를 강화함과 동시에, 격리장소 무단이탈에 대한 원스트라이크 아웃제를 적용해 고발 조치했다고 전했다.
