한편, 북부지방산림청은 금년도 산림교육 운영사업을 통해 산림부문 탄소중립 연계 등 다양한 콘텐츠로 구성된 양질의 산림교육서비스를 제공하고 장애인·위기청소년·노년층 등 사회취약계층 대상 산림교육 확대로 공적 기능 강화에도 최선을 다할 계획이라고 했다. 

또한, 산림교육전문가 156명(숲해설가 94명, 유아숲지도사 62명)의 민간 녹색일자리를 창출하고 약 35만 명의 국민들을 대상으로 수요자 맞춤 산림교육 프로그램을 운영할 예정이라고 관계자는 말했다.
