[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군은 친환경 농업기반 조성 및 친환경농업 실현을 위해 친환경미생물배양센터를 운영 중에 있으며, 올해에는 총 7.5억원을 투입해 토양미생물제, 생균제 및 유박비료 550톤, 액상미생물제 320톤을 생산해 관내 2,000여 농가에 공급할 계획이라고 밝혔다.

친환경미생물배양센터는 액상미생물배양센터와 고형미생물생산센터로 분리되어 운영 중이고, 액상미생물배양센터는 대량배양기, 초자세척기 등 총 16종 44대의 최첨단시설 및 기자재를 갖췄으며, 고형미생물생산센터는 고형팰릿생산기, 발효건조기 등의 기자재를 갖추고 있다고 했다. 

액상미생물제 ‘광합성균, 바실러스, 효모균 등’와 고형미생물제 ‘토양미생물제, 생균제 등’를 합해 약 700톤 이상의 친환경 미생물제를 자체적으로 생산해 친환경농축산물 생산농가 및 일반농가에 공급하고 있고, 올해는 추가적으로 친환경유기농업자재 공시 완료된 충해관리용 미생물제제 ‘비티플러스’를 친환경인증농가 대상으로 확대 공급할 계획이며, 이는 가평군농업기술센터 축산과학팀에서 2년간 7작목의 실증시험을 이루어낸 결과물이라고 전했다.

하반기에는 6.5억원의 예산을 투입하여 유박비료생산시설을 갖추어 생산과 함께 홍보를 통해 내년 초 친환경인증농가에 공급할 계획이며, 가평군은 앞으로도 지속가능한 농업을 위해 친환경미생물을 활용한 친환경농업을 실천해 친환경인증면적 확대 및 고품질농산물 생산에 도움이 되고자 한다고 밝혔다.
