양양군은 보다 안전한 야영장 환경을 조성하여 인적·물적 피해를 예방하고, 관광자원으로서의 경쟁력을 제고하기 위해 지역 내 등록야영장을 대상으로 지원 사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

지원대상은 신청일 현재 등록된 야영장 중 안전·위생설비나 화재안전시설 보완이 시급한 야영장을 우선 고려하며, 사업계획의 적정·타당성 및 자부담 확보 여부도 평가하여 선정하고, 최근 3년간 같은 사업으로 선정된 야영장은 제외된다고 했다.

지원 대상으로 선정된 야영장은 전기·가스시설, 재해방지시설, 조명시설, CCTV, 긴급방송시설 및 급수·배수시설, 상·하수도 시설, 화장실 및 취사시설 등 안전·위생시설을 개보수하거나, 단독경보형 연기감지기, 소화기, 일산화탄소 경보기 구입 또는 글램핑 시설의 방염천막을 교체하여 화재에 대한 안전성을 확보할 수 있다고 했다.

신청은 오는 24일까지 양양군청 관광과를 방문하여 야영장 담당자에게 신청서와 사업계획서, 관광사업 등록증 사본 등의 서류를 제출하면 된다고 했다.
