[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양양군이 고품질 농산물 생산․유통을 위해 저온저장고 설치 지원 사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

양양군은 농산물 출하시기 조절과 신선도 유지 등 상품성 향상으로 농사소득증대의 활용성을 높이고, 농산물 유통과정에서 품질저하를 방지하여 수급 및 가격안정을 위해 올해 2억1천250만 원을 들여 농산물 저온저장고(산지저온시설) 28동을 설치 지원한다고 밝혔다.

지원시설은 10㎡(3평형) 규모 소형 저온저장고 28동으로 저장고 제작․설치에 따른 비용 중 50%를 행정에서 보조금으로 지원한다고 전했다. 

신청대상은 양양군에 주소를 두고, 농업경영체에 등록한 농가 또는 영농조합법인으로 이달 28일까지 주소지 읍․면사무소를 통해 신청하면 된다고 했다.

양양군은 유통(저장․선별) 시설 부족지역으로 출하량이 많고 공동이용률이 높은 농가․조직, 전년도 신청자 및 양양몰 입점업체, GAP 인증 및 품질보증 품목 생산농가, 수출 유망품종 생산농가, 친환경 인증농가 등을 우선 지원하기로 했다고 전했다.

양양군은 신청 농가를 대상으로 자체심의회를 통해 경영체등록정보 재배작물 확인 및 농가별 평가표에 의거 공정성 있게 평가 선정할 방침이라고 했다.

양양군 농업기술센터 이우형 소득유통과장은 “농산물 저온저장고 지원을 통해 출하시기 조절 및 상품성 유지 등 농민들이 선호하는 사업”이라며 “수확기 에 한꺼번에 출하되는 것을 예빙하고, 상품성과 부가가치를 높여 농가소득 증대에도움이 될 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.

한편, 양양군은 농산물 유통과정에서의 품질저하 방지와 농가 경쟁력 강화를 위해 지난해에도 16동의 저온저장고를 지원했다고 전했다.
