2022년 동해시의 농업 분야 보조사업은 여성농업인 지원사업, 농산물 직거래 택배비 지원사업, 작목별 맞춤형 안전관리 실천 시범사업, 고품질 쌀 생산을 위한 영농자재 지원사업, 가축분뇨 자원화 톱밥 지원사업 등 총 53개 사업에 15억 7,900만원을 투입한다고 했다.

농업 분야 보조사업은 농업인과 농업인단체의 자생력 확보와 경쟁력 향상, 특화작목 육성, 귀농·귀촌 정착지원 등을 목적으로 추진된다고 했다. 

신청 자격은 동해시에 주소를 두고 거주하는 농업인 또는 농업인 단체(법인, 연구회 등)로, 사업 신청 희망자는 공고문에 포함된 사업별 신청서를 작성해 오는 2월 4일까지 동해시 농업기술센터로 제출하면 되고, 기타 자세한 사항은 동해시농업기술센터 또는 시청 홈페이지를 참조하면 된다고 전했다.

정미경 농업기술센터 소장은 “코로나19로 침체된 농업을 극복하기 위해 맞춤형 지원사업을 추진하겠다”며, “이번 지원사업들이 농업인과 농업인단체의 경쟁력 제고 및 동해시 농산물 품질 향상에 많은 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
