[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시는 저소득 여성청소년의 건강한 성장을 위해 보건위생용품(생리대) 구입비용을 지원하는 ‘2022년 여성청소년 보건위생용품 지원사업’을 실시한다고 밝혔다. 

여성청소년보건위생용품 지원 사업은 저소득층 여성청소년들의 건강한 성장을 위한 사업으로 이용자들의 편의를 위해 바우처 방식으로 지원하게 된다고 했다.

지원대상은 국민기초생활보장법에 따른 국민기초생활수급자 및 법정 차상위계층과 한부모가족지원법상 대상자 중 만 9세에서 24세(1998.1.1.~2013.12.31.출생자)까지 여성청소년이라고 했다.

지원금액은 만9세에서 18세 사이 여성 청소년에게는 국민행복카드를 통해 1월부터 12월까지 매월 1만 2천원(총 14만 4천원)이 제공되며, 만19세에서 24세 여성에게는 5월부터 12월까지 매월 1만 2천원(총 9만6천원)이 지급된다고 했다.

신청은 2022년 1월부터 12월 17일까지이며, 신청한 달부터 지원이 가능하므로, 1월 중에 신청해야 최대 혜택을 받을 수 있으며, 또, 한번 신청하면 지원 자격에 변동이 없는 경우 재신청 없이 만24세가 되는 해까지 자동 지원된다고 했다.
