[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시 시민 10명 중 4명이 3차 백신 접종을 완료했다고 밝혔다.

동해시에 따르면, 시가 지난달 실시한 코로나19 방문예방접종팀 운영을 비롯해 추가 접종에 대한 대시민 홍보 및 독려에 나선 결과, 3일 기준 동해시 내 3차 접종자 수는 37,709명으로 41.8%를 넘어섰다고 밝혔다.

2차 접종 완료자는 73,580명(81.6%), 1차 접종자는 76,466명(84.8%)로 집계됐다고 전했다.

연령별로는 60대 이상에서 80% 이상이 3차 접종을 완료한 가운데, 시와 교육청이 함께 12세~17세 청소년의 백신 집중 독려에도 나선 결과, 절반이 넘는 2,827명(55.5%)의 청소년이 2차까지 백신 접종을 완료하게 됐다고 했다.
