이번 개원으로 아동 30여명이 등원하며 새로운 환경에 적응하게 됐으며, ‘코아루더스카이어린이집’은 양질의 보육·양육 서비스를 제공하기 위해 500세대 이상 공동주택 내 관리동 어린이집을 20년간 장기무상임대 조건으로, 국비 등 1억 2천여만원을 들여 최근 리모델링을 마치고 이번 개원하게 됐다고 했다.

어린이집은 지상 1층, 연면적 217.3254㎡ 규모로, 보육실 3, 유희실 1, 화장실 2, 교사실 및 원장실, 조리실 등이 재배치·조성됐다고 전했다.

특히, 코아루더스카이어린이집(원장 이은숙)은 지난해 7월 보육정책위원회의 위탁체 선정․관리기준에 의거 선정돼 어린이집 공간 조성에 적극적으로 참여하며, 영유아들이 친근감을 갖을 수 있도록 공간을 마련했다고 했다.

임정규 가족교육과장은 “수요자 중심의 양육․돌봄서비스 확대 운영을 도모하고, 보육 인프라 확충을 위하여 2022년에는 국공립어린이집 2개소를 신설 할 예정으로, 아이와 부모, 보육 교직원이 모두 만족하는 보육환경을 조성해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
