군은 올해 하반기 강원도 보조금 확보가 결정됨에 따라 설계를 추진, 설계가 마무리 되는 내년 1월 공사를 발주해 하반기 준공할 예정이며, 생곡저수지 둘레길 사업에는 총 10억 2,500만원(도비 4억원, 군비 6억 2,500만원)이 투입되어 1.3㎞의 탐방로 조성, 50m 출렁다리 1개소, 목교 50m 1개소 등이 설치될 예정이라고 전했다.
