[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시가 내실 있는 감사 추진으로 시민들로부터 신뢰받는 공직문화 조성을 위해 ‘2022년 동해시 연감 감사계획’을 수립·추진한다고 밝혔다.

동해시는 이번 연간 감사계획 추진으로, 기본과 원칙 중심 그리고, 사전 예방을 위한 감사를 실시해 책임감 있고 성실히 일하는 공직분위기를 확산시켜 나갈 방침이라고 했다.

올해는 시 본청 실과를 비롯해 공사ㆍ공단, 보조단체 감사, 특정감사 등을 통해 예산ㆍ회계 처리 및 업무처리의 적절성과 합법성 확보와 효율적인 보조사업 목적 달성, 공공시설물 관리 효율성 증대를 이뤘으며, 2022년에는 올해 실시하지 않은 본청 실과를 비롯해 출자ㆍ출연기관 감사와 감사원, 국민권익위원회와 협업을 통한 감사원 대행감사, 지방공공 기관 채용실태 정기 전수조사를 실시할 계획이라고 했다.

동해시는 자체감사를 통한 사전적 예방기능을 수행해 시민에 대한 책임성과 신뢰성을 확보하고 궁극적으로는 조직과 시정발전 도모, 시민의 눈높이에 맞춘 조직의 역량을 향상시킬 예정이라고 전했다.

심재희 기획감사담당관은 “기본과 원칙에 입각한 감사로 공직자 및 조직의 업무역량 강화와 공공책임성을 증대시켜, 시민들로부터 신뢰받는 행정조직을 만들어나가도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
