오는 12월 16일에는 보산동 커뮤니티센터에서 ‘시민주도’라는 주제로 민간의 활동을 소개하고 주제적 시민활동을 지원하는 행정사업을 시 담당자가 설명하고, 1일차 기조발제는 최근 예비 문화도시로 선정된 의정부의 사례를 박정근 의정부문화원 사무국장이 소개한다고 했다. 

오는 12월 17일에는 동두천 평생학습관에서 ‘에코뮤지엄과 지역학’이라는 주제로 2일차 포럼을 개최하고, 김갑곤 경기만 포럼 사무처장이 시민참여가 핵심인 에코뮤지엄 사업에 대해 설명하는 기조발제를 하며, 사례는 에코뮤지엄 사업을 추진한 동두천역사문화연구회와 턱거리마을박물관 담당자가 발표하고, 두 번째 세션은 동두천 지역학을 진단하고 동두천 록페스티벌의 지역문화자원 활용 방안에 대해 진단한다고 전했다.
