[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 2일 포천시 한탄강 세계지질공원센터는 박물관대학 ‘한탄강 역사문화 교육 전문가 과정’ 1기 수료식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

수료식에는 이경옥 한국여성농업인 포천시연합회장을 비롯해 수료생 20여명이 참석해 수료증을 전달받았고, 이번 1기 과정은 지역에서 활동하는 교육전문가를 대상으로 포천지역의 문화유산과 자연유산에 대한 심화 교육과정으로 진행됐으며, 코로나19 예방을 위해 비대면 수업과 대면 현장 답사 수업을 병행해 24명의 수료생을 배출했다고 전했다.

수료식에 참가한 한 교육생은 “이 지역에 살면서도 몰랐던 지역의 역사, 인물, 지리를 배우며 다시 한번 생각하는 계기가 되었다.”라고 소감을 밝혔다.

포천시 관계자는 “교육생들의 열성적인 참여로 1기 프로그램을 성공적으로 마칠 수 있었다.”라며 “이수한 교육생들이 앞으로 일선 현장에서 더욱 자긍심과 애향심을 갖고 포천의 유산을 널리 알리는 역할을 해주길 기대한다.”라고 말했다.
