[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 12월 1일 캠코(한국자산관리공사)는 신산업 진출 등을 위해 사업재편을 도모하는 기업의 자산을 인수하는 ‘캠코 사업재편기업* 자산매각 지원’ 시범사업을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 시범사업은 정부 ｢2021년 하반기 경제정책방향｣에 따른 후속조치로, 2022년 지원 사업 본격 시행에 앞서, 기업 요청사항을 반영한 세부 지원방안과 지원절차 전반에 대한 사전 점검을 위해 추진됐다고 했다. 

시범사업에서 캠코는 산업통상자원부 사업재편계획심의위원회*에서 사업재편계획을 승인받은 기업을 대상으로 설비, 부동산 등 자산을 신탁방식 또는 캠코 기업지원 프로그램을 통해 매입 후 재임대함으로써 원활한 사업재편을 돕는다고 했다.

캠코는 이번 시범사업을 통해 신산업 진출을 위해 사업재편 승인을 받은 3개사로부터 기계설비 40점, 부동산 2건을 매입해 총 420억원을 공급한다고 전했다.

캠코는 이번 시범사업 결과를 바탕으로, 정부부처와 협의를 거쳐 세부 실행계획 정비 및 지원 확대 방안을 모색하고, 2022년부터 사업재편기업 등에 대한 자산매각 지원 사업을 본격적으로 시행할 계획이라고 전했다.

김귀수 캠코 기업지원본부장은 “미래차, 디지털 전환, 헬스케어 등 급변하는 산업환경에서 선제적 사업재편과 적기 자금공급의 중요성이 날로 커지고 있다”며, “캠코는 사업재편기업들이 원활한 사업 재편과 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있도록 유동성 공급 확대 및 적기 지원을 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 캠코는 경영위기에 처한 기업들의 경영정상화를 돕기 위해 PEF, PDF 등 기업지원펀드 출·투자, 담보부 사채 발행 지원, 자산매입 후 임대 프로그램, 회생기업 DIP 금융, 기업자산 매각지원 프로그램, 선박펀드 등 다양한 프로그램을 운영해 기업을 지원하고 있다고 전했다.
