[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 12월 17일 양주시청소년상담복지센터는 오후 2시 센터 대강당에서 ‘2021 양주시청소년상담복지센터 운영보고대회’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사는 코로나19의 확산 방지를 위해 김종석 양주부시장, 정성호 국회의원, 정덕영 시의회의장, 지역 청소년단체장 등 최소 인원만이 참석해 진행하고, 현장에 참여하지 못한 시민을 위해 양주시청소년상담복지센터 유튜브 공식 채널에서 실시간으로 송출해 비대면 참여를 지원한다고 했다.

이번 보고대회는 내빈소개, 부시장 인사말씀, 국회의원·시의회의장 축사, 시상식, 사업운영 경과 및 청소년 실태조사 보고, 축하공연, 우수사례 발표 등의 순으로 진행되며, 특히 올 한해 관내 청소년의 건강한 성장지원을 위해 노력한 1388청소년지원단 단체와 개인, 우수상담자의 노고를 치하하고 격려하기 위해 양주시장상을 수여할 예정이고, 이와 더불어 이번 보고대회에 사전 참여를 신청하거나 유튜브 댓글 이벤트에 참석한 시민 100명을 선정해 다양한 증정품을 지급할 계획이라고 전했다.

양주시 관계자는 “이번 운영보고대회는 청소년이 건강한 사회인으로 성장할 수 있도록 다양한 청소년 활동을 지원하고 청소년의 복지 증진을 위해 노력해온 1년간의 성과를 점검·평가하는 시간”이라며 “내년에는 청소년상담복지센터 서부권 분소의 본격적인 운영으로 청소년 복지서비스 이용의 지역격차를 해소하는데 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
