제3차 미세먼지 계절관리제의 구체적인 시행 내용으로는 배출가스 5등급 차량 운행제한, 운행차량 배출가스 특별단속, 사업장 불법배출 집중단속, 농촌 영농폐기물 및 잔재물 관리, 다중이용시설 실내공기질 특별점검, 집중관리도로 청소차 운행, 미세먼지 대응요령 홍보 등을 실시하여 지역 내에서 발생되는 미세먼지 저감을 추진할 계획이라고 했다.
