[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 5일 경기도의회 건설교통위원회 김종배 도의원은 경기도교통연수원에 대한 2021년 행정사무감사에서 장애인, 노인, 어린이 등 교통약자의 이동을 위해 사용되는 특별교통수단 운전자의 안전교육과 성범죄 예방 교육 필요성에 대해 집중적으로 질의했다고 전했다.

김종배 도의원은 “교통약자의 이동편의 증진법 제13조에 따라 특별교통수단 운전자는 의무적으로 교통약자 서비스 교육을 받아야 한다”고 언급하며 “2019년 5회, 924명 교육을 실시했는데, 작년과 올해는 교육실적이 없다”며 향후 교육실시 계획은 있는지 질의했으며, 또한 “온라인교육팀을 만들었으면 줌교육을 통해서라도 교육이 이루어지도록 해야 한다”며 특별교통수단 운전자의 교육 실시 대책을 추궁했다.

김 의원은 “교통약자의 서비스 교육 뿐만 아니라 성폭력 예방교육도 의무적으로 이수하도록 해야 한다”고 언급하며 “관련 조례의 개정도 필요하다”고 강조했다.
