[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 10월 20일 북부지방산림청은 국립DMZ자생식물원에서 지역사회와 함께 소통하고 상생하는 국가숲길의 효율적인 운영·관리 체계 구축을 위한 ‘DMZ펀치볼둘레길 운영ㆍ발전협의회’ 하반기 회의를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

DMZ펀치볼둘레길 운영ㆍ발전 협의회는 지난 2018년부터 숲길을 체계적으로 운영ㆍ관리하고, 이와 연계한 지역주민 소득증대 등 지역경제 활성화에 기여하고자 지역주민과의 협력 및 유기적 관계를 유지하고 있다고 했다.

구성원은 산림청(북부지방산림청·민북지역국유림관리소·국립산림과학원· 국립수목원), 군부대(육군 보병 12사단ㆍ21사단), 양구군, 관련단체(한국등산ㆍ트레킹지원센터, (사)디엠지펀치볼둘레길), 지역주민(해안면 주민자치위원ㆍ이장협의회ㆍ새마을지도자협의회ㆍ부녀회연합회) 등이라고 했다.

이날 협의회에서는 2021년 DMZ펀치볼둘레길 상반기 운영·관리 위탁 성과 보고 및 DMZ펀치볼둘레길을 연계한 지방정원 조성ㆍ시티투어사업 등 지역경제 활성화를 견인할 수 있는 협력방안에 대해 논의했다고 했다.
