[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 14일 북부지방산림청은 주변과 조화로운 친환경 사방시설 및 휴식과 여유를 즐길 수 있는 친수공간 제공을 위해 추진 중인 국립삼봉자연휴양림 내 위치한 산림유역관리사업의 전문가 현장토론회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 추진 중인 산림유역관리사업은 삼봉자연휴양림 내 불안정한 계류 안정화를 통해 산림자원의 질적 향상 유도 등 산림생태계 보전과 휴양림 이용객 편의성 등을 고려하여 자연친화적 공간 조성을 목표로 하고 있다고 했다.

북부지방산림청은 2년 연속 산림유역관리사업을 추진한 경험으로 기존 단순한 사방사업에서 탈피하여 자연친화적인 재해예방 및 친수공간 조성 등 자연형태를 이용하여 아름다운 계곡을 조성할 수 있는 기술과 경험을 다년에 거쳐 습득했으며, 그 결과, 2년 연속 전국 재해방지 우수사업지 수상으로 북부지방산림청의 사방 기술력을 전국에 알린 바 있다고 전했다.
