[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 북부지방산림청은 다양한 규제혁신 홍보콘텐츠를 활용하여 규제혁신 정책고객망을 통해 2021년도 상반기 산림 분야 규제혁신 사례 홍보를 중점 추진하고 있다고 밝혔다.

북부지방산림청에서는 상반기에 구성한 규제혁신 정책고객망을 통하여 산림청 2021년 상반기 규제혁신 대표사례 관련 카드뉴스를 배포해 산림규제 혁신 성과를 집중 홍보했으며, 금회 홍보한 상반기 대표사례는 산림복지전문가의 종류 확대 등 총 5건으로, 올해 상반기 개정된 사항과 상반기 발굴하여 하반기에 개정될 예정인 과제로 이루어져 있다고 했다.

산림복지 수요는 휴양·레포츠 등 다양한 방면으로 확대되고 있으나, 기존에는 산림복지전문가는 숲해설가 등 4종으로만 한정되어 있어 다양한 산림수요에 유연하게 대응할 수 없었다고 했다.

이에, 산림청에서는 산림복지전문가 범위에 ‘산림레포츠지도사와 그 밖에 대통령령으로 정하는 사람’을 추가함으로써 국민의 수요에 대응하고 민간산업을 활성화할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다고 했다.

북부지방산림청은 지난 3월 협·단체, 기업 등 정책 수혜자로 규제혁신 정책고객망을 구성하였으며, 그 구성원으로는 산림조합중앙회 북부산림사업본부, 지방자치단체 등 14개의 유관기관, 홍천참숯 등 5개의 생산·가공·유통업체와 국민평가멘토단 등이 해당된다고 전했다.

최수천 북부지방산림청장은 “코로나19 바이러스로 인한 사회적 단절이 길어질수록 국민과의 소통이 급격히 줄어들고 있다.”라고 말하며 산림 규제개선 사항을 전 국민이 알 수 있도록 최선을 다할 것이라고 밝혔다.
