[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 17일 오전 11시 의정부시의회는 본회의장에서 제307회 임시회 제1차 본회의를 열고, 오는 8월 30일까지 14일간의 일정으로 의정활동에 들어간다고 밝혔다.

먼저 본회의에 앞서 임호석 의원은「장암동 수락리버시티 1, 2단지의 행정구역 경계 조정 촉구」, 구구회 의원은 「문화도시 지정을 위한 제언」 주제로 5분 자유 발언을 했다고 전했다.

이번 임시회에서는 오는 25일까지 각 상임위원회별로 2021년도 제2회 추가경정예산안과 조례안 및 그 밖의 안건 등 16개의 안건을 심사하며, 

 오는 26일과 27일 예산·결산특별위원회를 열어 2021년도 제2회 추가경정예산안을 처리한 후, 오는 30일 제2차 본회의에서 안건을 의결하고 폐회할 예정이라고 했다.

한편, 구구회 의원이 대표 발의하고 시의원 전체 13명이 공동발의한 「경기북도 설치 촉구 건의안」은 경기북부지역의 차별 문제 해결과 지방자치시대의 지역균형발전을 위해 경기북도 설치를 촉구하는 내용을 주요 골자로 하고 있으며 원안대로 채택하여, 국회, 행정안전부, 경기도에 송부할 계획이라고 했다.

오범구 의장은 개회사를 통해 “각종 조례안과 추경예산 등의 안건심사에 있어 동료 의원들께서는 시민들에게 희망을 주고, 침체된 지역경제를 살리기 위한 민생 백신이 될 수 있도록 더욱더 세밀하게 살펴 주시기 바라며, 집행기관에서도 적극적인 협조를 부탁드린다”고 당부했다.
