[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부] 6월 25일 오전 11시 캠코는 캠코양재타워(강남구 도곡동)에서 남궁 영 캠코 공공개발본부장, 황윤경 서울창조경제혁신센터장 등이 참석한 가운데 ｢공공데이터 활용 디지털 뉴딜 창업지원 업무협약｣을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 공공자산처분시스템 온비드를 운영하는 캠코와 창업지원 전문기관 서울창조경제혁신센터가 협력해, 온비드 공공데이터(공매정보 등)를 활용한 사업모델을 발굴․육성하고 창업을 지원하기 위해 마련됐다고 했다.

양 기관은 협약을 통해 창업기업 지원 프로그램 개발･운영 창업 지원을 위한 기관 인프라 공유, 인적교류 등에 상호 협력하고, 공공데이터 활용 ‘창업경진대회’를 개최해 우수 창업기업을 선발･지원할 예정이라고 전했다.

남궁 영 캠코 공공개발본부장은 “창업지원 전문기관과의 협업으로 이번 프로그램이 보다 내실 있게 진행될 것으로 기대한다”며, “앞으로도 캠코는 온비드 공공데이터 확대 개방은 물론, 데이터와 참신한 아이디어가 만나 지속가능한 사업모델로 발전해 나갈 수 있도록 지원의 폭을 넓혀가겠다“고 말했다.

한편, 캠코는 정부의 공공데이터 개방 정책에 부응해 지난 2014년부터 온비드 공매정보를 활용한 ‘앱(웹) 개발 아이디어 공모전’을 진행해왔고, 올해에는 이를 확대해 ‘창업경진대회’를 개최(7월초 공고)함으로써 공공데이터를 활용한 중소․벤처기업의 창업․사업화를 지원할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
