[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부] 6월 14일 북부지방산림청은 봄철 산불방지유공자를 포상하고 산불방지에서 나타난 문제점을 진단 및 공유하여 발전방안을 마련하기 위하여 청태산자연휴양림에서 ‘2021년 봄철 산불방지대책 운영 성과보고회’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 성과보고회는 봄철 산불예방·진화에 이바지한 진화대, 공무원 등에게 북부지방산림청장상 13점을 표창하고 10만원 상당의 온누리상품권을 수여할 계획이며, 북부지방산림청 및 소속 국유림관리소 담당자 등 30여 명이 참석한 가운데 코로나19 감염 예방을 위한 철저한 방역수칙 하에 진행할 계획이라고 했다.

북부지방산림청은 코로나19 장기화 등 사회적으로 불리한 여건 속에서도 산불초기 신속한 대응과 기상여건에 힘입어 봄철 기간에 관내 산불 98건(35.99ha)이 발생하여, 전년 건수 대비 55%, 면적 대비 74% 감소하는 등 어느 해보다도 피해를 최소화하며 성공적으로 마무리할 수 있었다고 했다.

아울러, 산불조심기간 이후에 발생하는 산불에도 신속히 대응할 수 있도록 비상연락체계 유지, 신속한 상황전파 및 초동대응 조치 등의 체계를 유지하여 적극적으로 대처할 계획이라고 전했다.
