아이돌봄서비스 본인부담금은 대상 가정의 소득 유형에 따라 시간당 1,506원에서 10,040원까지 부담하였으나, 가평군에서는 자녀 양육의 경제적 부담을 완화하고자 '아이돌봄서비스 지원 조례'를 제정하여 본인부담금을 일반 가정은 50%, 다자녀 가정은 100%까지 지원한다고 했다.

아이돌봄서비스 이용을 희망하는 가정에서는 주소지 읍·면 행정복지센터에서 신청이 가능하며, 이용자는 이용료를 결제하고 서비스를 이용한 후 신청 계좌로 지원금을 환급받게 된다고 말했다.
