[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군과 국민권익위원회는 지난 14일 가평군청 3층 대회의실에서 실시한 ‘달리는 국민신문고’를 성황리에 마쳤다고 밝혔다.

‘달리는 국민신문고’는 국민권익위원회가 법률구조공단, 한국사회복지협의회, 한국소비자원 등에 소속된 각 분야 전문 조사관들을 파견해 민원을 직접 접수·상담하고, 가능하면 현장에서 이해충돌 당사자들의 중재를 유도한다는 취지를 가진 민원 상담 제도다.

이번 달리는 국민신문고에서는 교통도로, 산업농림환경, 재정세무, 도시수자원 등 행정 전반적인 분야에 대해 조사관이 상담을 실시했으며, 이번 달리는 국민신문고에서는 총 20건의 민원상담이 이루어졌다.

이날 진행한 민원 상담 중 상담장에서 신청인(민원인)에게 안내하거나 피신청인(해당기관)간 합의서를 작성하는 등 현장에서 15건의 민원을 해결했으며, 추가적인 검토가 필요한 5건의 민원은 국민권익위원회에서 고충민원으로 별도 접수하여 추진할 예정이다.

서태원 가평군수는 “달리는 국민신문고에 방문한 주민들의 고충을 해소할 수 있는 좋은 기회였다.”며 “앞으로도 고충민원 해결을 위해 적극적으로 노력하는 가평군이 되겠다.”고 말했다.
